1st Day
  • A pleasant welcome to the Island of Sri Lanka through the Bandaranaike International Airport.
  • Transfer to Negombo (9km 20minutes)
  • Check into the hotel

2nd Day
  • After breakfast transfer to Anuradhapura (168km 3.30hrs)
  • Check into the hotel

3rd Day
  • After Breakfast do a city tour of Anuradhapura, the first capital of Srilanka
  • Evening Do a city tour in Nuwara Eliya
    • Sacred Bo Tree-the oldest historically authenticated human planted tree ever in the world.
    • The Brazen Palace and Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba
    • Thuparama Dagoba-the first temple of Srilanka
    • Isurumuniya rock temple- the rock carving of the “LOVERS”
    • Samadhi statue of Buddha & Royal Pleasure Gardens
    • Moonstone carvings and twin Ponds
    • Abhayagiri and Jethavanaramaya Dagoba and monastery complex

4th Day
  • After Checkout Transfer to Nilaveli, Trincomalee. 113km 10hrs
    • Mihintale was the Place where Buddism was introduced to Srilanka in 247 BC. Arahath Mahinda, the Son of famous Emperor “ASOKA” brought the invitation to Contemporary King in Srilanka “Deva nam Piyatissa”. The king embraced the Buddhism. Mihintale is considered to be the Oldest Sanctuary in the world which continues up to date.
  • Spend rest of the day at leisure at the Nilaveli Beach

5th Day
  • In the evening a city tour in Trincomalee
    • Visit Tiru Koneswaram
    • Renowned in legend and history, by a variety of names, such as Kona Malai, Tiru kona malai. Trincomalee is the site of the Sacred Hill of the Three temples. Situated on the eastern sea board, the place finds mention in the great chronicle mahavamsa by the name of Gokanna. And also gokanna is one of the ancient port in Srilanka.During the Portuguese period the temple was destroyed. And later it has been refurbished.
    • The road goes through the fort fedrick leads to the temple hill. The breath taking view from the hill of the temple towards the east coast attracts lot of people around the world. Also can be seen the white spotted Deer’s roaming around.
    • Fort Fedrick & the war cemetery
      In the early period of the portugues rule they were not in the least interested in taking possession of trincomalee. But after the arrival of the dutch in the east coast they got alarmed and took control of the two ports of trincomalee and baticaloa. In 1622 the Portuguese destroyed the temple as well. Later the dutch taken the control of the fort.In 1795 British taken over the fort and named, FORT FEDRICK after the then Commander in chief the Duke of York

6th Day
  • After Breakfast Proceed to Habarana (85km 1.30hrs)

7th Day
  • Thereafter visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress
    • Sigiriya is a unique combination of fifth century urban planning, landscaping, Hydraulic management, engineering, architecture, painting, sculpture and poetry.

8th Day
  • Hiriwadunna village Trek
    • To get experience of real traditional Srilankan rural village style, where you will travel in a bullock cart to a rural village through lush green paddy fields and canoe ride in a lake in habarana. Then you will be served tea and “juggery” along with lunch made authentic typical countryside Srilankan style. Traditional cooking methods, and visit to paddy field to see how local farmers protect their crops from the wild animals including elephants. They demonstrate traditional methods of processing the rice in their homes
  • Back to Hotel rest of the day at leisure

9th Day
  • After the Breakfast and leave to Kandy. (95km 2.20hrs)
    • En route visit Dambulla Rock Cave Temple.
    • Dambulla Rock cave Temple is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE in Srilanka. The history of the temple dates back to 3rd Century BC. In the 1st century BC major five caves had been converted to beautiful interior carved temple. The caves consist of Buddha statues, statues of gods, statues of kings and as well as Bodhisatwa. And the temple features 20000 of square feet of ceiling paintings which is the largest south Asia.

10th Day
  • The temple of Sacred tooth relic
  • World war Cemetery
  • Kandyan Cultural Dance show in the evening (optional)

11th Day
  • Transfer to Colombo 134km 3.45hrs 
    • En route visit Embekke, Lankatilaka and Gadoladeniya historical Temples
    • Embekke, Lankatilaka and Gadoladeniya Temples
    • Embekke devalaya is an ancient shrine and a temple dedicated to lord kataragama. Built by king vikramabahu3rd of gampola(1357-1374)Embekke is world famous for wood carving in the pillars of the drummers hall.
    • Gadaladeniya Built almost exclusively of stone in 1344 by gampola king wickramabahu. The architecture is Dravidian, the entrance porch feature large stone pillars, which support a roof of huge stone slabs.  The 638 years Old jackwood doors still exhibits their original painting.
    • Lankathilaka
    • Completed in 1344, but more traditional Sinhalese style. three storied building,  situated on a top of a gray rock above the fertile highland gree, the shrine contain ancient Buddha image of brick and plaster, plus devalas to four guardian deities of the island. Each with his consort. Wood carvers still work at the foot of the rock on which the temple stands. The painted doors of wood and frescoes still bright with their original paint on walls and ceilings in the shrine room. And superb seated image of Buddha

12th Day
  • City tour in Colombo including Kelaniya Rajamaha viharaya, Gangaramaya Temple
    • Colombo is the commercial capital and the largest city of Srilanka. Like many capital cities in developing countries Colombo is fast changing its face. The population of Colombo is 0.75million. It is the financial centre of the island and a popular tourist destination. Its located on the west coast of the island. Mixture of Modern life and colonial buildings & ruins can be observed.
