- Proceed to Adams Peak (128km 4.28)
- Peak wilderness including Adams Peak is a Tropical Rain forest. Huge forest area has been cutoff during the British period to plant tea. It radiates River Kalu, River Kelani and many waterfalls.
- The Adams Peak 2243meter height. According to the chronicle Mahawamsa the Buddha has visited Sree pada after visiting kelaniya. The foot print is 1.8 meter long. And the pilgrimage season starts in December to May. Generally visitors start to climb around 1 am in the darkness, so can get the chance of sighting the sunrise from the summit. During the off season it’s very hard to climb due to heavy rain, thick mist & strong wind. And also the area is surrounded by gem bearings.
